🛒 Ingredients

Want to make the tater cakes from scratch first? Check out the original Meesh’s Tater Cakes recipe.

🍳 Directions

  1. Prepare or reheat one Meesh’s Tater Cake until hot and crispy.
  2. Place a slice of cheese directly on top of the hot tater cake.
  3. Allow the cheese to soften and get nice and melty.
  4. Cook one egg over-medium so the white is set while the yolk stays soft and delicious.
  5. Place the over-medium egg directly on top of the melted cheese.
  6. Sprinkle with salt and pepper if desired.
  7. Grab a fork, break that yolk and let it run over the whole thing.

✨ Make It Your Own

The original is ridiculously simple, but this is definitely one you can play with.

☕ Meesh Says

This is what happens when I look at a perfectly good tater cake and think, “Hmmmm… what else can I put on that?”

Crispy potato. Melty cheese. Runny egg. Breakfast, brunch, brinner — I don’t care what time it is.

Meet The Cluckin’ Tater. 🥔🧀🍳😉
